Who We Are
DVC Visalia was established on October 13, 1986 with the ByLaws written by Dan Crowe.
In conjunction with the Visalia Police Department in the form of a 50-year lease on the facility, Bruce Miller, Ron Kucala and Herschel O’Brien completed construction of the clubhouse that same year.
The Fun House followed to expand training for both law enforcement and the recreational shooter.
Steve Abbott MemorialDVC Dedication of the memorial for Steve Abbott was held on Saturday, July 26th, 2003. Steve was remembered and honored by family and friends from Visalia Police Department and DVC. Steve’s son noted the monument was placed facing downrange so those utilizing the facility might be reminded of Steve’s long term contributions to fellow shooting enthusiasts.
